By combining expertise in user experience design and HCI research honed from academia, startups, and an agency, Young brings the holistic perspectives and execution of solving complex problems into the realization of the simple and easy to use digital products. 

Before joining the agency world, he worked as an in-house UX designer for two different startups and was a tenure-track assistant professor at Texas State University-San Marcos, where he conducted human factors design research as the director of Human Factors Lab. He published over 20 refereed articles in the journals such as Journal of Usability Studies, Ergonomics in Design, Journal of Eye Movement Research, and Gerontechnology.

Jason is our visual designer who possesses a firm grasp of visual design principles including layout, typography, and alignment with brand frameworks. 

His diverse skill set includes motion graphics, illustration, front-end development, and video and has been useful for teams that require a generalist artist while also specializing in product design.
